We have 22 Love A Child (LAC) kids in college now. At least, most “were” in college until about a week ago. They “had” to come home to our Orphanage because the gangs were so bad. The gangs were constantly shooting in the morning and all day “right outside the kids’ windows.” It was getting impossible for them to make it to college safely.

Our college children had lived in fear and slept in terror each night. Due to the fact that we had already had four college children kidnapped (along with many employees), we had to bring them all home to Love A Child, where it is safe.

But everyone has a job to do… some boys are working on construction and some on our new building projects; one is working at our radio station doing communications; others are doing photography or working in the Jesus Healing Center Clinic, the Birthing Center, the Malnutrition Center, painting, etc.

Stephanie, pictured here, works in our office under Alex, our head accountant; left is James, and to the right is Jean Gardy, each studying accounting! So, we decided to keep them here until things quiet down and send them back in September.

Urgent: We have ten college students without laptops; they want to be able to continue to learn their courses. We are in need of ten HP laptops! The approximate cost per laptop is about $250.
