Love A Child Sustainability Projects: 1-31-19 11:00 AM

Sustainability: “Helping Haitians to Help Themselves.” Here are some pictures that were taken of Mike, Larry, Rad, John, and me and our Haitian friends and students. Some are from Farmer John’s Butcher Shop and the Poul Mirak chicken school, as well as the new little broiler chickens coming into Poul Mirak. Farmer John’s has the best meat in Haiti! In the butcher shop, they were cutting up 14-day old aged beef from the cooler. The meat is so tender! (Farmer John’s is located inside Gwo Maché Mirak.) Plus, many Haitians who have very little money come in each day just to buy a little, just enough to fit in your hand. They sell it, and then come back and buy more. They are making money! Someone said yesterday that we should teach the Haitians how to garden… and we do! We have our Love A Child Agricultural Training Center that teaches Haitians how to garden and grow great crops.

Breaking News: Today, Farmer John is taking over the new management of Epi d’Or inside Gwo Maché Mirak. (This is a market we built for the Haitians for sustainability.) They have the best food and service ever! Love A Child does not make or receive any money from the marketplace. We built it as a gift to the Haitian people to help themselves. Love Is Something You Do! Bobby
