Tomorrow we will be distributing food in three new “desperate for food” areas. These three new villages are in “hard to reach areas,” so the mothers will be walking down to our trucks on a road that is easier to get to. Bobby will be sure to be there because this food distribution is “fragile.” We have already purchased the mega rice and will be picking up the fresh live tilapia fish, so we will be “ready to go.”
Feeding the hungry is the best way to show people that “God really loves them.” One of our missionary friends, Joel, prayed for a woman recently who lived near a voodoo village. She had never known the “love of God” until our people showed up with a sack of rice for her hungry children. As she prayed the prayer of repentance, her whole face “lit up!” She is receiving a Creole Bible today, and she will be blessed even more. “It all starts with one box of food.”
We really want to thank our partners who sacrificed to make all this possible for these villages tomorrow, and by faith, for so many more.
Bobby and Sherry
P.S. We want to thank the “Feed My Starving Children” people because at the end of the month, we will be receiving two more containers!
