We are so blessed to have “Lovely” in our family. As some of you may know, someone told us about Lovely when she was a baby. Her mother had died, and her father abandoned her. (We were told her mother died of AIDS, but we are not sure). An elderly lady told us about her, and we came and brought her to our orphanage.

Lovely is gracious, sweet, and kind to everyone. She loves to sing, and the Lord has blessed her with a golden voice. Unfortunately, she has had some severe health problems since we found her, and she is on medication and has to make trips to a hospital far away.  She has one more year of school left, and her dream is to be a lawyer to defend the poor. Lovely is all “girl!” She loves to do her nails and keep up with “the newest hair-do.”

Lovely has “great faith in God!” One evening, while our children had service at night, the spirit of God came upon Lovely! I had never seen anything like it…she began to “preach!” While she was preaching, she began to say, “I know the Lord will heal me! I know the Lord will heal me!!” All of us went away praising God!! This would indeed take a miracle, but God is a God of miracles!!

Let’s just see what the Lord will do!
