The couple who lived on top of the “mountain” in Covant (Bel Fontaine) were members of our Love A Child Church there. A Haitian woman died of “child-birth fever,” and so the Haitian Pastor brought him to us and asked if we could take him in. There were four other children in the family, and having a new baby meant that the baby would probably not survive!

Today, it’s hard to believe that our little Lucson is 11 and in 5th grade! He is small for his age, but he is really smart!!! He is “always thinking about something!!!”

This little guy is a hard worker and can keep up with the older boys. His daily job is cleaning, making his bed, and sweeping the floor, etc. Even though he looks small, he is “very intelligent” and wants to be a doctor!! He loves dominoes, soccer, and any kind of game!!! He is also a “teaser!”

We love Lucson and can’t wait to see what God will do with his life.
