You can see the difference you have made in another life here in Haiti. Just look at Mackenson when he was a baby! His poor father, a farmer, had brought him to our Mobile Clinic, far in the mountains of Covant. To get there, we had to go by four-wheel drive, then walk, and then, wait until the mules came for us!!

There, in our small Mobile Clinic came this poor farmer with a baby in his arms. The baby had Kwashiorkor Malnutrition. His arms and legs were splitting open due to excess fluid.

I asked his father how old he was. His father told me, “he is seven!!” It was a long way back and a long way into recovery, but now, Mackenson is 15, in junior high, and wants to be a teacher!
