The first time I saw Mackenson was when his poor father brought him to our Mobile Clinic “deep in the mountains of Haiti.” At that time, there were no gangs, and we could travel anywhere in Haiti, doing “Mobile Medical Clinics.” We had gone to the “furthest and most difficult” village to reach! We had to share mules because we only had a few, and we had a large team. It was a tough trip!

As soon as the clinic started, an older, “rugged-looking farmer” came in with a little boy in his arms. We thought the little boy was about three, but he was much older… he was suffering from malnutrition. We found out that the child in his arms was about seven! We brought him home to our orphanage and took care of him. Today, Mackenson is a teenager who loves the Lord! He wants to be a Geography teacher! Thank you for your love and prayers for Mackenson!
