Mackenson… Ever since he was a little boy, he has always wanted to be a geography teacher! He must have had good teachers because he has his mind made up. We met Mackenson when we were way up the mountains of Covant, conducting a Mobile Clinic!

A poor father walked into our clinic tent carrying a little boy, who looked like a toddler, but the child had Kwashiorkor Malnutrition! I asked his father how old he was and I was shocked to know that he “was very young!” The child was horribly swollen, so we took him back with us. It took Mackenson a long time to recover!! But, when he was in elementary school, he had a stroke! We took him for therapy, but he still limps when he walks.

Mackenson is now 17 and in 11th grade! He has lots of chores to do, and also helps feed the donkeys and dogs! I am certain he will follow his dream and become a geography teacher! He is another one of “God’s Miracles!”
