I did not believe the gangs would come last night, which they did not. Miracle Village is almost completely empty.
Much of Fond Parisien has fled to the mountains. Many have fled to the border, which will not let anyone cross without a passport and visa, even if they are Haitian. Everyone is very afraid. Fond Parisien has a population of 150,000 people. The La Source community joins it with even more people.
If we do not start having backup from the government of Haiti today, I must say what I believe about the corruption in the government here. The bridge at Ganthier has only steel bars welding across it, I found out. The government could come to break the steel across the bridge and put it back up to save the Haitian people out here, including us.
The Kenyans are a big scam. When they came out last week to help fight, they parked their armored vehicles at our market… The population got mad and kept telling them to help fight in Ganthier! They went but did not fire one bullet!
They had orders not to fire. The Kenyans are useless here. It’s just a big money grab!! Only 400 Kenyans are here. The 1,000 never came yet. I hear they want $600 million!! We are praying for backup today. It doesn’t look good so far.
The 400 Mawozo gang is trying to scare the community and Love A Child. I can tell you one thing: we are not afraid. You better be afraid of Fond Parisien and Love A Child. You are about to face hell head-on.
How could you even think to come here and scare our orphans and do bad things to them?
We have a great security force we hired from outside the country. We are secure and are well prepared to defend Fond Parisien, the market, Farmer John’s, along with some tough people here. The police are great… Only a handful. We are not going to just let the 400 Mawozo gang come in here and take over our town and Love A Child and scare and rape our children! They will have many surprises before they get even close. These ex-Marines and others are ready!!
And we have God and all His angels on our side! Your prayers have worked. Keep praying. If we have ever needed your prayers, it is now.
