The road leading to the Dominican border from Love A Child is called Malpass. Malpass literally means “a bad way.” Lately, the road has certainly been living up to its name! It had become barely passable, with big trucks struggling to make it through.

We are thankful for a great partnership with our local community. The community came together to provide 60 loads of fill and paid for the diesel. Love A Child provided the heavy equipment, along with George and Joker to operate the loader and bulldozer.

The guys made short work of it! Now the road is passable again, and the big trucks can travel back and forth without getting stuck.

We love seeing the community come together and everyone doing their part. Thank you to everyone who helped make this happen!
