While I am taking some time out from Haiti, I came across some cute pictures of our Haitian children who were making “pizza!” With all the children we have, you might think that the kids would get into a “spat” once in a while, but I have never seen that happen! Here, Widlene, an older girl in our Orphanage, was teaching the kids, “girls and boys,” how to make “pizza!”

Haitian kids love to eat special foods, and pizza is at the top! You will see Widlene and younger children all taking part in “mixing and rolling out the dough,” and other things! They had a “ball!” (Blackie, one of our Rottweilers, got tired of waiting for someone to throw him some scraps, so he took a nap while the kids finished!) The pizza turned out “really good,” and “the kids and the dogs” had a great time!
