Malnutrition is the leading cause of poor health here in Haiti. Children under five face multiple forms of malnutrition. Millions are stunted in their health, wasting away, and many times, near death.

Haitian mothers have always been active in selling small things, which helps them buy food. But now that the gangs have taken over Haiti, they are afraid to go out to sell!

Little Homer was in critical condition when he was brought to our “Love A Child Malnutrition Clinic.” He could not even move! His mother was extremely worried about him, because he kept on “losing weight!”

He got to the place where he “would not eat or drink!” (This is very serious for malnourished children and babies!)

He was first brought to our “Jesus Healing Center Clinic,” which is sponsored by Joyce Meyer Ministries – Hand of Hope. The doctor, seeing the urgency, transferred him immediately to our Malnutrition Clinic.

But, after several months of treatment, he began to gain weight! It was time for his mother to come and get him. Now, she is required to bring him in every several months for a check-up, but will return home with a big box of “Feed My Starving Children” food!
