Giving Thanks . . . .
As we all prepare for this week of Thanksgiving, we think about how thankful we are for so many of you who are always faithful to join us in helping “the least of these” in Haiti.
Now, we are focusing on these last 3 days before Thanksgiving for our urgent “Matching Gift Challenge”. We thank those of you who have already partnered to help us try to raise the $95,000 Matching Gift, but for those of you who have not yet been able to help, please go to your phone today and call in your best matching gift before Thanksgiving. As you know, an anonymous donor recently made a “Matching Gift Challenge” for you to match his gift towards our “Solar Project,” or “Where Most Needed!”
Please consider matching this donor’s urgent challenge with your gift of any amount now. Here are the two important needs for this challenge:
- “Where Most Needed…” with a gift to “where most needed,” we can buy critically needed FOOD for the thousands of starving children and families in Haiti.
- “SOLAR”… We still need to get solar power for some of our buildings that serve the needy in Haiti every day. With your support, we can forever be away from the expensive, unreliable diesel power we had been relying upon.
