You may remember this “little sweetie.” Her name is Mika Burnette and she was found starving to death in the village of Madamn Bauje. When we found her, we thought she was about nine-months-old. It turned out that she was really two-years-old, but looked so young because of severe malnutrition. She could not walk or talk. When we brought her to our Love A Child Orphanage, everyone gave her lots of love and attention, and of course she received proper nutrition. Today, she is happy, healthy and smiles all the time.
