Miliana… We first saw Miliana when she was in the village of “Madamn Bauje.” We had been doing a TV program, telling people about the Food Distributions we were going to do in this area. Bobby was with me, along with Pastor Mark. As I stood there in the village, I saw a little girl with torn clothing, crossing a muddy ditch. She was chewing on a dirty ribbon tied to her sweater. I looked closely and saw growths that looked like “little tree trunks” all over her arms, legs, neck, etc. I asked her mother if we could take her home and try to get help. She agreed.
We took her to a skin specialist in the States, but there was nothing they could do. The growths completely covered her body. Miliana is now 20 and in 11th grade. She wants to be a nurse. Her favorite thing is tic tac toe, and she loves Jesus!
