“Tiny and Tough.” That’s Miliana. We found her in the village of “Madamn Bauje.” She was walking across a small ditch, pulling at the string on her sweater. She never looked up! She had red hair and sores all over her body. These were oozing sores with a “skin fungus”. She constantly chewed on a loose string, hanging from her dirty sweater. We knew we had to take her in.
After she came to our orphanage, we discovered her whole body had growths all over. These growths looked like “tree trunks.” We sent her to many doctors but she always came back the same. Today, she is 17 and in 10th grade. We asked her what she liked to do in her spare time and she said, “Play “tic-tac-toe!” We love Miliana and we know that God has a plan for her life.
