We arrived in Sapaterre a few hours ago and checked into a motel. We could not set up the clinic today, because of the rain… We will begin tomorrow.

On another note, a friend of ours here in Haiti, Joel Trimble had sent his Haitian crew to an area that desperately needed food, because of Hurricane Matthew. They were struck with sadness to see the devastation of all crops and found a man dead today of starvation. The man had been healthy but the people said that he died of hunger because there was little food, due to all the crops being wiped away from Hurricane Matthew and “he always made his family and friends eat first.” He died from hunger. This was our first known case of the impact of starvation from Hurricane Matthew but there will be much more… so, so sad. Bobby and Sherry
