A note from Rad Hazelip our Assistant Executive Director at Love A Child:
We are announcing that our next three-week class in Sustainable Agriculture will take place in October. We have been getting requests to conduct another of our very popular three-week residential training classes on Sustainable Agriculture. We hold these classes at our Agricultural Training Center (ATC) in Fond Parisien. They are excellent, intensive classes taught by Wilner Exil, our Director of the ATC. We have room for up to ten students to study, work and live together for three weeks at the ATC learning such valuable skills as basic gardening, using heavy mulches, making compost and fertilizer, making insecticides, preparing soil medium, worm farming, seed saving, appropriate irrigation and much more. These are lifesaving skills that the students are eager to learn and take back to their respective villages to help others have a better life. Anyone wanting more information, or interested in sending Haitian students, or sponsoring the $725 scholarships for a Haitian student to attend, can contact Rad at the Fort Myers, Florida office at 239-210-6107 or [email protected]. When we help our neighbors to acquire skills for having a better life, it pleases Jesus.
