Because of the gangs and the political problems in Haiti, Sherry and I have never seen hunger this rampant in all the years we have worked here. Haiti is in a “food crisis.” When we see the little children hungry, some days it’s unbearable.
Each box of Feed My Starving Children (FMSC) food contains 216 nourishing meals… Real rice, peas, carrots, onions, soy, added minerals and nutrients! We cooked the food in “big pots,” coming out hot and delicious!! The Haitians call it “ti pa nou” … “Just a little for us.” Oh, the Haitians love this food!!
Thank you, Feed My Starving Children, for donating the food valued at $65,000 per container, and thanks to all of our friends who helped by donating $10,000 to pay for the transportation to get the food to Haiti!
Thank you to everyone for your prayers and support.
Special thanks to all of our older Haitian sons and the security who deliver and make sure the poor get their food! If it were not for our older children, we would not be able to do food distributions without our being there! We are so proud of them!
