We just hated to leave the sweet people and children of this poor village, high in the mountains of Haiti. This was the “first time” we had ever been to this village to do a feeding program and give boxes of food to the mothers. There were “so many people!” It was a good thing that we had organized this, or it would have been dangerous to try to distribute all this food.

Feeding the precious children of Haiti was the most wonderful thing. They sat quietly, waiting for their food, even though they were hungry. In Haiti, all children wait until everyone has their bowl, then they pray, and then they eat!

Bobby and I kept thinking, “We wish our partners could be here!” Bringing food brought “hope” to the Haitian people and the people say, “Hope makes us live!”
