We are so proud of Jean Richard! This young many came to us after the earthquake. He had been raised in another orphanage that had been demolished during the earthquake so we took him in. We had no idea Jean Richard would turn out to be such a great musician! 

He’s learned how to play the keyboard, bass guitar, drums, and now, he is teaching many of our children how to play as well! Jean Richard asked me to find out if one of our partners could help him. He has many students here at our Love A Child Children’s Home, and he said he needs one more nice keyboard so that he can teach more students!

If anyone has a keyboard or is interested in buying one and shipping it to us here in Haiti, please contact Rad Hazelip at
our Love A Child office at 239-210-6107. (Rad will let you know how to get it to us here in Haiti). The brand doesn’t matter, as long as the keyboard is child sturdy. There will be a lot of kids learning on it! (Also, please don’t forget tranquilizers for me and Bobby! Our room is right above the music room. Ha!)

Seriously though, these are great kids. They can sing so well and they are all learning to play Christian music.
