There’s one thing that 12-year-old Raphael loves more than drawing… playing bass guitar. He is just learning under the direction of “Richard,” one of our older boys. Richard is busy all the time teaching some of our children how to play keyboard, drums, and bass guitar! Raphael is sweet and quiet. He is a good student and loves to draw. He is the brother of Bianca and Ada. He wants to be a doctor. All Haitian kids have one thing in common… anything that has a “boom sound” gets turned up high. It wouldn’t be so bad, but our room is right above the music room! Ha! Where did I leave my earplugs??

Raphael is so sweet. He is so quiet that you would never know he is there, unless you are in my room above the music room! We love Raphael! Sherry
