We really love Jean Richard. He came to us right after the earthquake in 2010, when the orphanage for the handicapped, where he was staying, completely collapsed. He came to live with us then. We found out that he has a great gift for playing the keyboard! There are many times when I feel a little sad or depressed about the condition of Haiti, and then I will hear one of our girls singing like an angel and Jean Richard gliding his hands over the keyboard with such an anointing! Jean Richard does good work in school. Thanks to one of our partners, he now has a “three-wheeler bike” that he can use to peddle to our school. We want to send him to school to study computer training, but he needs a laptop. Jean Richard has a sweet spirit. Due to his handicap, he really needs to learn a good trade for his future, and he is excited about this possibility.
