This is little Nazalie. (We call her Rachael.) A few weeks ago I posted a picture of her sores, which looked like fungus and impetigo. We had to cut her hair and shave her head. She was so sad and so embarrassed. I sent her back and forth to dermatologists and all they did was take my money. I posted a picture, and some of you told me to mix several items together; one being an anti-fungal and the other, triple antibiotics. I added some yellow sulfa powder that I use in my Mobile Medical Clinics. I have her on Co-trimoxazole and Griseofulvin.
We washed her head each morning with soap and Betadine, and then put the mixture on. We did the same thing at night. As you can see, her head is looking better and her hair is growing, but I will continue this for at least another week.
Thank you all for your suggestions!! The Haitians say, “Men anpil chay pa lou.” (With a lot of hands the load is not heavy.) I say, “Two heads (or more) are better than one!” Thank you so much for your thoughts and the great help for Nazalie (Rachael).
God bless you!
