Nazalie was born in November 2010, the year of the earthquake. Her mother died during childbirth. Her father could not even afford to buy her milk, so we took her in.

We didn’t like the name Nazalie, so we nicknamed her Rachael but she answers to both. Nazalie loves to dress up, but she also loves to cook, clean, do chores, and play with dolls. She helps take care of baby Zachary and Zoey! (She has nerves of steel!)

She is now in fourth grade and does very well. Nazalie is in our “Praise and Dance” team here at the Love A Child Children’s Home and never misses a beat! She says she wants to be a nurse when she grows up. I know her mother would be so proud of her beautiful little daughter if she could see her now. We all love Nazalie (Rachael!)
