You may remember this little guy. His name is Nelson and you helped change his life. He was living in the village of Old Le Tant and was near death when we discovered him. We found him sitting in the mud next to the pigs and his belly was full of worms. He was starving to death, and could not walk or talk. He was so sad and very pitiful. We knew we could not leave him in the village or he would die. We brought him to the Love A Child Children’s Home and our huge family welcomed him. All the children hugged and loved Nelson. Our room mothers made sure Nelson ate three nourishing meals each day. It didn’t take long for the food and love to change Nelson’s life. He soon began trying to walk, run and talk. Now, he is the “sunshine” that brightens our days, running, talking, laughing and playing with his many brothers and sisters. We thank all of our wonderful partners for changing another life!
