I wanted you to see just some of the young ladies in the kitchen…Anna, Ada, Daphlina, and Yolanda! These are just “some” of the good cooks we have at our Love A Child Children’s Home!

As I have said in the past, these girls love to cook because they love to eat! They love it when the “older cooks” show them a new recipe or how to use Haitian ingredients, or share “those secrets!” But no matter how much they learn or how good they are, the Haitians know the moms who cook the best! They have a Creole proverb that says, “Never throw out the old cooking pot for the new.”
