Here is some exciting news from Rad Hazelip about one of our new sustainability outreaches. Read his message below:
“Yesterday was the first day of our second three-week intensive sustainable agriculture extension training program. Wilner has seven students now from three different areas around Haiti. These pictures show Wilner with the new students beginning their training at our Agricultural Training Center (ATC), where they will learn, work and live for three weeks. You see their “textbook,” which Wilner put together to cover all the topics in their curriculum. With the new skills these sponsored students will learn, they will return to their villages and projects and begin training others. This is a sustainability program… Haitians are learning to help themselves to become self-sustaining. Bobby and Sherry are committed to helping Haitians not only with food for today, but also food for tomorrow through these sustainability programs. A huge “thank you” goes to the donors who recognized the importance of providing scholarships for these seven students. Your gifts of support are helping generations of Haitian families have nutritious food. God bless you. – Rad Hazelip”
