We can’t build the Love A Child Birthing Center soon enough! This lady was at our front gate at Love A Child an hour ago! She came from another clinic that sent her to us, but the Jesus Healing Center is only open Monday through Friday. So Kaeli and I jumped into the cruiser and George drove! We were afraid she would have the baby in our truck! This little boy was born about 25 minutes after we got there! Mother and her baby are doing well. This mom was fortunate to have us get her to a clinic in time. Many poor women have their babies in mud huts on dirt floors. The new Birthing Center will also be a Women’s Health Center, teaching poor women family planning, and how to take care of their children when there is little food to choose from. There are many “cultural beliefs” ingrained in them and they need to understand that a healthy mom and fewer children are better than a weak mother and many children. Sherry
