Just look at these poor Haitian people who have not been able to see well. Reading glasses are so important here in Haiti. For most Haitian mothers, they can now “see to thread a needle,” and for Haitian mothers and fathers, they can now see to read their Bible and other things!!! A trip to a doctor here would be about $50 U.S. Then the doctor would recommend that they “buy reading glasses.” Who could afford that in Haiti? No poor person at all!

We received pallets of NEW reading glasses from our friends at MAP International. We gave many away and shared some with our missionary friends. These photos came from our friends at Real Hope for Haiti and Lori, but many more received eyeglasses from MAP International!
