A New Year brings new plans and new hope.

The new year always brings ideas for new projects. Some even make “New Year’s resolutions” to lose weight, quit smoking, or achieve some other self-help goals. For our team at our Agricultural Training Center (ATC), we have a goal of expanding our gardens near the children’s home so we can provide even more fresh food for the kitchens that serve Love A Child. We will need to clear another large area of ground, remove the scrub brush and rocks, add a water source for proper irrigation, and fence it off from roaming goats, horses, and cattle. We have already been preparing large piles of compost. The compost will add good organic material to the soil, so the soil can give us good crops. When we expand our “farming God’s way” principles to the new area, we will have hope for greater harvests.

What are your new hopes for this year? We thank everyone who supports Love A Child’s work for children and families in need in Haiti. Together, we bring new hope to many.
