We woke up early this morning to a breakfast of “hot pumpkin soup” that is a New Year’s tradition here in Haiti! Every Haitian who possibly can, must have this on New Year’s Day. It has carrots, cabbage, meat, pasta, bananas, yams, squash, and “everything but the kitchen sink!” It is delicious!! Our children are all so thankful to have this wonderful soup, as they know that many other children will have nothing to eat today. May God bless you for your love for the poor. Bobby and Sherry
