Thousands of families in Haiti are trying to recover from the recent earthquake and storm with heavy rains. Many of you are helping with extra donations for earthquake relief, tents, tarps, food, etc. Thousands of families have been left with nothing.

Last week we received a large donation of 5,000 packs of special garden seeds from Hope Seeds to help the families recover and give them hope. The Hope Seed packs have at least 10 different varieties of specially selected open-pollinated vegetable seeds that will last the families many seasons of growing their own food. When the families see their new seeds sprout and begin to grow, they know that soon they will have reliable, nutritious food from their own efforts. That gives them “hope.”
