We have been receiving wonderful donations of medical supplies from World Vision and MAP International. We have been sharing these supplies with the Department of Health in Haiti and also with various hospitals and organizations who work in the Medical Field.
This morning as we began to load a box truck with supplies from World Vision, our workers inside were afraid to work because they were scared of the bees! Apparently, a Queen Bee decided that she would build her little “condo” right there on top of the World Vision pallet!!
No one here knew what to do!
Finally, someone remembered a little grandpa from New Letant that we had helped years ago, Mr. Tison. He came with his grandson and began to smoke the female out and put her in a box!
He told us that by this evening, all the “workers” would move into the “bee box!” I sure hope so!
Haitians love honey, but they are afraid of the bees!
We are all busy now, so please, “no more bees please,” until we get a full-time beekeeper!
Love A Child has LOTS of bees on our property, and the Haitians consider this a huge blessing from the Lord, as we know it is!!
We will “bee” keeping you informed!
God bless you,
Sherry
