This is “Lovely.” She is in college right now, with a lot on her shoulders. She is studying Haitian Law to be an attorney! We first saw Lovely when she was a tiny baby, sitting on the side of a street. We don’t know a lot about her parents. All we knew about Lovely was told to us by a street vendor named “Madamn Cheap Cheap!” We knew both parents had severe problems that would follow Lovely. We really felt that it was God’s plan for us to take care of her.

We noticed that later, she developed even more health problems that she had inherited from her parents, mostly from her father. She was on a lot of medications through the years. She was always a quiet child until one day, when the orphanage children were having their “nighty service,” the Spirit of God came upon her, and she climbed on top of one of the tables and began to “preach,” and tell everyone to repent of their sins because “Jesus was coming back soon and they needed to repent!” The children all began to pray!!

Lovely is in college here in Haiti to study to be an attorney. She wants to “defend the poor.” (She may go broke doing this, but she has “made up her mind!”) Even though she has severe health problems, she is always kind and “puts Jesus first!” Thank you, partners, for your help in sponsoring college for Lovely! God has a great plan for her and “for you!”
