“If there be among you a poor man of one of thy brethren within any of thy gates in thy land which the Lord thy God given thee, thou shalt not harden thine heart, nor shut thine hand from thy poor brother: But thou shalt ‘open wide thine hand’ unto him, and shalt surely lend him sufficient for his need, in that which he wanteth.” – Deuteronomy 15:7-8
We serve a God who has “never been stingy” with anything that we have needed. Now the Lord wants us to bless the poor, and never be stingy, but we must “open our hands wide” to those in need. Have a blessed day and “keep your heart and hand” open wide!
