I love doing mobile clinics in Haiti and “the regions beyond.” It has been hard to have the Mobile Clinics because when we buy medicines, we have to buy them from Port au Prince and it is hard to get the medicines through the gang areas. But now, we have the medicines. We just have to get across the border from the Dominican Republic and into Haiti, somehow!

I cannot tell you about the open, infected wounds that I have seen, handled, cleaned, and bandaged in our Mobile Clinics. Most of the wounds had horrible smells because the poor had not been to a doctor and the wounds were so bad you could smell them before the patient showed them to me.

Isaiah chapter one says, “From the sole of the foot even unto the head there is no soundness in it; but wounds, and bruises, and putrefying sores; they have not been closed, neither bound up, neither modified (softened) with ointment.” Isaiah 1:6

This is what God sees when He looks at those who reject Him… We, as Christians, need to pray and ask the Lord to send us to those who are sick and infected spiritually. The Lord wants to use “you” to bind up those wounds and bring spiritual healing to this world we live in. Pray that the Lord will open your eyes and send you to those who have those “putrefying sores” in their lives! God loves you.
