We woke up this morning here in Haiti to headlines that said, “Thirty-Four Hospitals and Clinics Have Closed Due to Gangs.”

We believe there are more than these that have closed due to gangs.

But thank the Lord, we never closed our doors to our “Jesus Healing Center,” nor to our Birthing Center or Malnutrition Center. In all this, we have been “open for business!” And our good friends at “Kris Pour Tous” and “Dlo LaVie” also remained open. We all love the Lord and love serving the poor!

We prayed every day because the gangs sent word that they were “coming to take over Love A Child!”

We give all the Glory to the Lord! It has not been easy because we have had to allow all our staff (over 400 workers) to stay for a month or more due to gangs. We always go the “second mile!”

Everyone who comes to our Clinic, sponsored by Joyce Meyer Ministries – Hand of Hope, can come here without paying for anything; in that way, they can save their money for food for their children!

When God blesses us, He blesses you because without your help, your unconditional love, and your prayers, we could have never made it this far!!

We feel that now, “the worst is behind us!” Thank you, partners, because, through all of this, you have remained steadfast and surrounded us with your prayers. Help is on the way!!
