This young teenager (13) will go far in his life! He, and the other boys here, work “very hard.” Their job is to rise early and sweep and clean the courtyard and other areas. (We also have two new Rottie puppies, so you can imagine trying to keep up with puppies and kids!) Dorissant’s mother died in childbirth, and his father abandoned him. He was found “wandering around a neighbor’s hut,” and someone called us. No one in the village wanted another child!

Dorissant loves school and does well! He loves soccer and basketball and wants to be a mechanic, which should be a lifetime job because we are always having to “fix and repair!” He is in 7th grade and very mature and helpful! He is an “easy young man to love!”
