Ericka is now 20 years old, and we have had her since she was a baby. Her mother had many problems and could not care for her. Ericka has some mental health problems that she was born with, and she cannot talk “clearly.” However, she “communicates well.” Ericka is sweet, hard-working, and kind to everyone. She is also a brave young lady to “stick it out” through her problems. She has made it to “7th grade!” She still loves to “jump-rope” with her sisters, and tries hard to sing at the children’s nightly service. Her “favorite gift” has been…. “her Bible!” I would not have minded if we had an orphanage “full of Erickas!” She is a “darling!”
