Ginyia… Her mother died during a “C-Section” and her father deserted her to go to the Dominican Republic. He never returned. She was raised by her 17-year-old cousin, but when she could no longer take care of the baby, she took Ginyia to Social Services. They called us and asked us to take her in. Her real passion is “Praise Dances” and she is good at these! Ginyia is 9 and in fourth grade at our school. She loves “jump-rope” and running! She also loves marbles! She has the desire to be a nurse one day… “I can see that!”
