Wilguens Jean-Jacque is now 11 years old. He is the brother of Fabiola, also in our orphanage. His mother died and his father had a hard time trying to buy food for him and Fabiola. Sometimes, they would leave the children for days while looking for work. Both children became very malnourished. His father decided to take them to Social Services, and they called and asked us to take them. 

Wilguens loves work and going to church! He works hard with the plants and flowers… cleaning the yard is not a problem to him. When he finishes school, he wants to learn “mechanics.” As a 6th grader, he makes good grades in school. His favorite thing is his remote car that he got for Christmas! The kids say that “he’s like an old grandpa!”
