We can never underestimate the importance of our Jesus Healing Center here in Fond Parisien, Haiti! You may think it’s just a “clinic for the poor,” but it is so much more! Haiti is the “poorest country in the Western Hemisphere.” Port-au-Prince, the capital, is “just surviving.” Gangs are still here. There are very few jobs available, and prices of food continue to rise…

The poor Haitians are always trying to pray and trust that things will be better. But parents know that it will be a choice between “food and sending their children to school.” All children must have uniforms and shoes!

Jobs are scarce. Men “father” children and then abandon their families. Years ago, Haiti had many factories, which created jobs. But the factories are gone. Haiti doesn’t even have a “President!” The poor are sick, depressed, and without much hope! Many come to our Jesus Healing Center not only for their sick bodies… but to receive faith, hope, and “medicine” for their soul!

We pray with them and tell them Jesus can heal them “from the inside out!” God bless our partners who helped sponsor the building of our Jesus Healing Center!
