She was born high in the mountains of Savaan Roche. Her father was killed (shot), and her mother was so distraught she could not take care of her. There were already nine children in the home and her mother could not handle another baby. A woman brought both Jolina and Daphlina (cousins) to our orphanage. As she grew older, we soon discovered that she was a “toughie” on the basketball court! She scared the boys! Ha!!! But, when she’s in the kitchen, “she’s all girl!” She loves to cook and loves to eat! She’s in 12th grade now and wants to be a Pediatrician. We will see where God leads her. She will go far with her determination.
