Our Kenzy

Kenzy’s father died when he was a baby and his mother died during childbirth. (This is the reason we built our Birthing Center.) A Haitian Pastor from one of our mountain schools brought him down from the mountains to us. Kenzy has always been sweet, humble, and frail. He has been sick since he was born. We found out that he has “Sickle Cell Anemia,” which causes him weakness and other symptoms.

Kenzy has had to have lots of blood transfusions. The problem is that each time he has to have blood transfusions, we need three or four workers or adults to give blood before he can get a blood transfusion. It’s a miracle Kenzy is “alive.” He is always “sickly.” We want to get him to the Dominican Republic when the border opens again.

Everyone, especially the orphanage mothers, loves Kenzy! Please keep him in your prayers. We hope you can come back to Haiti soon… we are expecting troops from Africa.
