When it comes to sports, our children here at our Love A Child Children’s Home are very COMPETITIVE! Each afternoon, after the kids finish their school lessons, they split up into teams and play against each other! Not just the boys, all of them and all ages! The little boys have no fear and can keep up with the older boys! The girls, whoa!!! They are TOUGH! Once they head outside for soccer, I make sure I stay out of their way!!! Soccer is their “main” sport here, but even playing other sports like basketball or volleyball, they get so competitive and aggressive! I love watching them play sports! They also compete against local teams here in our area! We always encourage them to be active in something whether it be a sport, music, or whatever they enjoy most! I love seeing how sports can help them build great character, and it helps them grow! Usually, when they come inside after soccer, they look like ghosts covered with dust and sand! Ha! They love it!
