Our Lives in Haiti

I thought I would give you some information on Haiti… Years ago, Sherry and I were ministering to and feeding some Jamaican people and their children. Someone told us that the Haitian people were really suffering, due to the lack of food. They said they were “living in unbearable conditions.” So, I took a friend of mine, by the name of Reverend Paul Keck, on my first trip to Haiti in February 1971. The children stole our hearts. When we came back from Haiti, the next trip, Sherry and I went together. We made many, many trips back and forth to Haiti preaching the gospel. On July 1, 1991, we moved to Haiti as “full-time missionaries by faith!” One night, we were having an open-air crusade of about 10,000 people. One “very skinny mother,” near the front, held her baby high up in the air and screamed out loud, “If God is so good, then why is my baby starving to death?” She changed our lives forever!

We love you,
