Years ago, we had a very, very small clinic. There were times when we had pregnant mothers coming from far away, and they would give birth “on the ground,” before we could get to them! We knew we had to have a “Birthing Center!”

With the help of some of our wonderful friends, our new Love A Child Birthing Center opened. Each day, it saves lives!

The women who came from the mountains tried to drink a “handmade tea,” which is common in the mountain areas. They said that the “homemade tea” would make the baby come faster! But, instead, it caused their blood pressures to rise. As a result, some mothers died from it!

But now, we have the most beautiful, calm, and peaceful “Birthing Center” you can ever imagine. There are “rocking chairs” on the front porch for nervous dads and family members! The mothers do not have to pay for all these check-ups or for the delivery. God bless our special partner and others who helped. The babies will receive their first shots here. Mothers go home with clean clothes for their baby, and joy in their hearts! We let them know that they are “so special,” that the Lord had this beautiful Birthing Center built “just for them!!”

It is precious to see a mother walking home, carrying her new baby in her arms, all because the Lord loves them so much. They were able to receive “doctor’s care,” “check-ups,” “shots for babies,” and much more. Instead of babies being “born on the ground,” they are born in beautiful birthing rooms; then, mothers are taken to a private room so they can enjoy food and care for their baby before starting on their trip home.
