Widlene is such a sweet young lady. As you may know, we met her and her baby sister, Esther, when their mother brought them to our front gate, years ago. Mdm. Jesula, as their mother was called, thought she was dying and wanted to ask if we would take them in when she died. I said to their mother, “Your name is Jesula? Well, that means that Jesus is here, and if Jesus is here, you’re not going to die!”

We sent their mother to a hospital and found out that Mdm. Jesula wasn’t dying, she was anemic! We took their mom, baby Esther, and Widlene into our orphanage. Widlene is almost finished with her studies as a “professional cook,” and Esther will start college soon. We love Widlene! She is sweet, kind, and a great cook or “professional chef!” Sherry
