Sandraline has come a long way. She was born in Croix des Bouquets, Haiti… a city that now has been taken over by gangs. When her mother died, her father Fritzner, a young man, had a job fixing bicycle tires. But it was not enough to pay rent and care for a baby, and he asked us to take her in.
When we saw her the first time, she was starving and had itching, oozing sores all over her, and cried constantly without stopping. She has more problems than these, which is why she is so slow in school, but she has a good attitude. She loves church and school, and she loves to sing! She also helps with the smaller children here at the orphanage, loves doing “puzzles,” and still loves dolls! She is in 8th grade, which is a miracle! God has a special plan for her life.
